Uwell Caliburn X - Innovative Pod System with OLED Display

Display
One of the biggest advantages of the Caliburn X Pod Kit is definitely the integrated OLED display. This allows you to read the most important key figures of your e-cigarette at any time. The display shows the current battery status, the output power, the current voltage, the coil resistance and the number of puffs (puff counter) at a glance. Individual settings can be made conveniently via the Burn button or the Multicontrol button.
Multicontrol Button
Thanks to the Multicontrol button, you can make individual settings on your Uwell Caliburn X Pod Kit and thus adjust the vapor experience to your personal preferences during startup. We explain how you can make the most important settings:
Switch on / Switch off
Press 5 times within 2 seconds. The display shows "Uwell" when the e-cigarette is turned on and "Goodbye when it is turned off.
Standby
After 8 seconds without operation, the Caliburn X Pod Kit switches to standby mode
Vaping Time
If you pull the vape longer than 8 seconds, the message "Over 8S!" appears on the display. In this case, the output of the Caliburn X is automatically stopped to prevent damage to the coil.
Locking the Multicontrol Button
You know the problem: Often the fire button of a vape is triggered unintentionally. Especially when you carry the device in your pants bag or in a pocket. To prevent this, you can easily lock the burn button: press 2x to lock, press 2x to unlock.
Puff Counter
The integrated puff counter counts every puff that you make with your Uwell Caiburn X. However, only puffs that last longer than one second are counted. The maximum number of puffs that will be counted is 999. Press the Multicontrol button 4x in a row until the puff count flashes. Press again to reset the puff count to zero.
Customize performance
The Uwell Caliburn X Pod Kit allows you to adjust the power (watts) to your individual needs. Press the Multicontrol button 3x until the wattage flashes. By pressing it again, you can now adjust the wattage between 5 and 20 watts according to your wishes. Recommended power depending on the coil used:
- 0.8 Ohm coils: 13 to 18 watts
- 1.0 Ohm coils: 10 to 15 watts
- 1.2 Ohm coils: 9 to 13 watts
Automatic resistance detection
Your Uwell Caliburn X Pod automatically detects which coil resistance you have inserted between 0.8 and 1.2 ohms. If the display shows the error message"No Atomizer", then the system does not recognize a coil. The message"Atomizer Short" indicates a short circuit due to a too low resistance.
Low Battery Protection
If the message"Low Battery" is displayed, then the coil is fired with too little power. In this case, you should recharge the battery.
Charging the battery
When you charge the battery of your Uwell Caliburn X, a battery icon is displayed when the device is turned off. When the device is turned on, the entire display is still shown. When the device is fully charged, the display will switch to standby mode.
Liquid Tank
The liquid tank of the Uwell Caliburn X has a capacity of 3ml. Thus, the filling volume is 1ml larger than the previous model Caliburn G / G2. Also with the Caliburn X, the liquid can be made conveniently and without removing the liquid tank. Simply bend the mouthpiece and you can fill the liquid through the red marked opening (Top Fill). Unlike other manufacturers, not only the liquid capacity is higher, the refilling of the E-Liquid is also significantly easier, since this does not require the entire liquid tank to be removed and the tedious opening and closing of the filler opening with a silicone plug is eliminated. Very cool is the large viewing window, through which you can see the current liquid level very easily.
Coils
The Caliburn X is compatible with the time-tested G / G2 vaporizer heads, which are known for excellent vapor behavior. Choose between coils with 0.8 Ohm, 1.0 Ohm and 1.2 Ohm resistance, depending on your personal preferences.
Battery
The battery has a charging capacity of 850 mAh, with an output power of 5 to 20 watts, which you can vary individually via the Multicontrol button. With the capacity of 850 mAh you should get through the day well and should you ever run out of power, then you can recharge your Uwell Caliburn X in a short time with the included USB Type C cable.
Charging the battery
The battery is charged via a USB Type C cable, which is included. The USB Type C port is located on the bottom of the e-cigarette. Important: Always use a 5V/2A adapter to charge the Caliburn X to prevent damage to the e-cigarette.
Airflow Adjustment
The airflow slider is located on the side of the case. With this slider you can adjust the airflow of the Caliburn X individually.

We have tested the Uwell Caliburn X for weeks in daily use and are extremely satisfied with the overall performance. The flavor of the liquids is very well reproduced and the device from the house of Uwell has proven itself in everyday use over a long period of time. Filling the pod system with liquid is extremely easy thanks to Top Fill and takes very little time. We also noticed that the battery can be charged extremely quickly via the USB Type C port; 20 minutes was enough for a full charge in our tests. Thanks to the individually adjustable wattage and the airflow regulator, the E-cigarette perfectly adapted to one's own preferences. Exactly this airflow regulator is also the only drawback of the device. Since the slider protrudes from the aluminum housing, it is very quickly positioned differently when stowed in the pants bag and you have to readjust it again and again.
