The shisha attachment is the part of the shisha in which the coals are placed and thus provides the heat on the tobacco head. The attachment is therefore a very important part of a shisha, as individual heat regulation is essential for good smoke production. There are basically two different systems. Very popular are the so-called smokeboxeswhich are usually made of aluminum or stainless steel and look like a miniature pan. For multi-hole clay heads chimney tops or chimney hoods are also used. These have a hood which is placed on the tobacco head. Air is drawn in through a pipe (chimney) and heat is released. The shisha coals are placed on the coal sieve.
