What is CBD Hash?

Between CBD flowers and CBD hash there is a big difference. While CBD weed is the pure unprocessed flowers of the hemp plant, CBD hash is a concentrated form of the flowers, which mainly contains a lot of resin and pollen of the trichomes. In the production process, the ingredients are pressed into slabs with a height of 1 to 2 cm, and the consistency of the final product can be quite hard to medium soft. How is CBD hash produced?

While in the case of weed, the harvested cannabis flowers are simply dried, in the case of CBD hash, the resin is traditionally extracted from the harvested flowers by means of mechanical separation. The resin is found in the trichromes (resin glands) of the plant. The separation is done by tapping, shaking and or dry sieving (drying and sieving). Alternatively, extraction using ice water can be used. The resin is then kneaded and pressed into blocks or plates. These are then cut into small pieces, which are usually offered in packages of 1g, 2g, 5g, or 10g in stores and online stores to the end consumer. The CBD content (cannabidiol) of most hashish types is between 10% and 40%. For CBD hash, cannabis is usually used that has been grown outdoors (in the open) or in a greenhouse. This is in contrast to CBD flowers, which mostly come from indoor production facilities and are supplied with artificial light and nutrients.

Is CBD hash legal in Switzerland?

Since August 1, 2022, CBD hash with a THC content of less than one percent is legal in Switzerland. Does CBD Hash get you high?

Pollinate crumbles apart easily and has a more intense flavor, but a slightly lower CBD content of around 20%. Unlike CBD hash, the CBD content of pollinate turns out more constant, which prevents strong fluctuations.
