Why is the number of trains on the AF5000 so low?
The result is not surprising if you know the facts:
- The tank contains 12 ml of liquid - this corresponds to around 6 Elfa pods of 2 ml each.
- An Elfa Pod achieves approx. 324 pulls (in the lab test). Extrapolated, this would realistically be about 6 × 324 = 1944 moves.
- Due to the higher performance of the AF5000, more liquid is vaporized per puff. This automatically leads to fewer puffs per ml of liquid.

Is it still worth buying the AF5000?
Yes - despite the lower number of trains, the Elfbar AF5000 remains an extremely popular device:
- Practical hybrid system with replaceable tank
- Great variety of flavors
- More vapor & more intense experience than with smaller pod systems
- Equivalent to 6 Elfa pods in a single tank in terms of liquid quantity
