What is a Big Puff?
A Big Puff is an e-cigarette with a particularly large amount of e-liquid and, accordingly, a high number of puffs. In the past, these were large disposable vapes with 10 ml or more. Today, they are primarily rechargeable pod systems with 10-ml pods that you fill yourself with e-liquid. One fill is enough for about 1,000 to 3,000 puffs, depending on how hard you inhale.
Big Puffs: Vape Pods with 10 ml or more
A few years ago, disposable e-cigarettes like Elfbar 5000, Vozol Gear 10000, and Lost Mary MO5000 at
were all the rage. These were followed by hybrid models such as Elfbar AF5000, NX7000, Lost Mary BM6000, and devices like the
Vozol Vista Plug with 2+10ml pods. Since the new Tobacco Products Act took effect, pre-filled vapes in Switzerland
are limited to 2 ml. The large disposable vapes have disappeared, and the hybrid models are also no longer
available.
But there’s no need to worry: There are still open pod systems with large liquid pods that hold between
10 ml and 20 ml of e-liquid. While you have to refill them yourself with e-liquid, a single fill lasts up to
3,000 puffs.
An Overview of the Big Puff Systems
Vape Pods with Built-in Coils
In most Big Puff devices, the coil is permanently installed in the pod. One coil holds about 20 to 40 ml of e-liquid, which is equivalent to two to four refills. After that, you replace the entire pod.

Vape Pods with Replaceable Coils
Some systems have a replaceable coil. Once the atomizer head is worn out, you simply insert a new one and can continue using the same pod. This reduces waste.

4-in-1 and 5-in-1 systems
Another Big Puff category consists of devices with multiple pre-filled 2-milliliter pods. You don't have to refill anything here.

Is it complicated to use the new Big Puffs?
The open-system Big Puff models require one extra step compared to disposable or hybrid vapes, but it's not complicated

- Open the silicone cap on your empty Big Puff pod.
- Fill the tank with up to 10 ml of your favorite e-liquid.
- Close the tank with the silicone plug.
- When using a new coil, wait 3 to 5 minutes to allow it to soak up the e-liquid.

How much does it cost to vape with a Big Puff?

Which e-liquid should you use in a Big Puff?
Big Puffs with 10-ml pods are usually designed for nicotine salt. The most common e-liquid used is 20 mg nicotine salt, such as Hayati e-liquids or those from JNR. What happened to hybrid vapes?
Hybrid vapes with 2+10 ml pods, such as the Elfbar AF5000, the Lost Mary BM6000, or the Vozol Vista Plug, were the “Big Puffs” of recent years. Today, they are no longer available. Their successors are the open-system “Big Puff” devices featured on this page: they also offer plenty of e-liquid and many puffs, plus a battery that lasts and e-liquid that you choose yourself.

Which vape has the most puffs?
The vape with the most e-liquid. Among the Big Puffs, that’s the Al Fakher Cubic, with 12 ml per fill. The numbers on the packaging, such as 55k or 35k, are manufacturer’s specifications and are rarely achievable in practice.
How many puffs are in 10 ml of e-liquid?
About 1,000 to 3,000 puffs. If you pull hard and for a long time, you'll likely get around 1,000; if you pull briefly and gently, you'll get up to 3,000.
Are Big Puffs legal in Switzerland?
Yes. All Big Puffs in our product line may be legally sold in Switzerland. Pre-filled disposable vapes and pods, on the other hand, are limited to 2 ml. All vapes are sold only to individuals 18 years of age or older.
How long does a coil last in the Big Puff?
